Music ideas and where to get it.

Need some ideas. I'm editing a wedding video and I'm doing the seqment of the bride and grooms pictures at different stages of their life. It 'll be about two minutes long. I've done this before but don't want to use the same music. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Harry

ask the B&G what genre of music they like or ask them for a couple of titles. That way you're not guessing and maybe guessing wrong :-(

Check out Magnatune.com. Their licensing is pretty cheap for single unit productions (like a wedding). Could be just $20 to get a single song. The have a rather large library to choose from, though it is short on the good rock, country, bluegrass but has boat loads of electronica, techno, ambient, renaissance, and world.

I just purchased Cinescore and .... well it has its uses but evoking any sort of emotional responses is NOT something it was designed for. IT is good at providing background music underneath some other content, be it vocal or ambient audio (birds chirping, etc).

Over all, I'm pretty disappointed with the caliber of music available with Cinescore. But seeing as it it cheaper than Sonic Fire, and that I am a Vegas editor, I went for the bundled deal.
