Hey Scott,
Well done, a little slow to start but once you got into it, it began to flow. I love the shot where they jump in together where you show it over and over. Great job. What cameras were you using?

Victor Kellar January 9th, 2008 10:16 AM

Man, that was pretty nice. Very nice camera work, nice editing to the music, good use of filters. Fun and sexy at the same time

One thing ruined it for me: The push transition. Really ??? Didn't need them at all and they added a fromage factor that the rest of the video was devoid of.

Other than that, a very nice job. Clients must be happy

Scott Shama January 9th, 2008 12:24 PM

Hey Jason,

Thanks! We wanted to start it a little slow to kind of establish them and their affection for one another. This was by far one of the best couples we've ever worked with.

Hey Victor,

You may not want to watch anything I post if you hate the push.. ;) It's one of the few transitions we like. :) There are times you have to cut two similarly framed shots together and I hate jumping those and sometimes a blur or flash just don't cut it.... BTW, what's a fromage...?

Thanks for the compliments though.

Cheers,
Scott

I love the train floating and fanning out around them in the pool. Glorious shots.

Hey Scott,

I loved the piece...keep up the interesting transitions, it really adds something.

Simon Denny January 9th, 2008 02:00 PM

Hi Scott,
Really like your work.
What filters did you use on the cameras if any for the pool shots?
What did you do in post to the footage?
Whats you NLE?

I like the color you in all your shoots and would like to learn a bit more.

Cheers
Simon

Scott, Very nicely done. I like the slower start, and building up to trash the dress part.

It made me smile, laugh and enjoy the clip and I dont even know the couple so would have to say you nailed it.

Well done Scott. I thought the push worked well for this.

Fromage = Cheese .. um, no offense

I have no objection to transitions, its just that in this neck of the woods people seemed tired of that particular one ... still, did not take away my enjoyment of the vid

Travis Cossel January 9th, 2008 06:53 PM

Loved it. I absolutely loved the shot where she flips her hair out of the water. Good stuff.
