Tribute to deceased Dad?
I have a wedding this weekend and the bride mentioned that her Dad has passed away and that there will be a "tribute" toast to him. I plan on videotaping this for them but I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and how it was addressed in editing.
For ex should I "tribute" him in the video or just incorporate the footage knowing when they see it they will know what it was? Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks in advance! Kelsey |
I had the same situation last year. A brides father past the weekend before her wedding. The groom told me not to include a slideshow/tribute to her father in the video, but to remember the "best" of the day. I agree with his thought because a wedding is to remember to best of things and if they want a tribute it should be on a seperate disc not apart of the wedding.

Good thinking~
Thanks for the input! Kelsey |

I'd shoot it so you have it on tape but I'd confer with the client as to whether to include it in the edited video. |
