Wedding we filmed last weekend. We try to get these out asap to the client. Also used some Super 8 at this wedding...will post footage with the Highlight later down the road. Bride is a model...and was a great subject to film.

Thanks Blake...not sure what camera I mentioned in another post. We have Sony Z1U's and Canon A1's but this particular wedding we were shooting Canon A1's with the Panalook preset.

The music score was from the soundtrack "Gone Baby Gone" - song Lionel.

It's funny, I was watching your footage thinking that it looked like XHA1 stuff but then saw pictures of Z1's on your site and was wondering how the heck you made your Z1's look like A1's. Guess I have my answer. That footage has a nice look about it. Something I like, but can't put my finger on.

I took to MB Looks much easier than I did to Color. I just find MB Looks much easier to mess with. Maybe that's just me.
What is it about Color that you like?

If you have the time, you can really pull the colors out more. You have MUCH more control over refining a grade than anything else. It is a very deep program. I also like how you can isolate areas of a clip to adjust color or exposure. You can do this a little with MB but not as detailed. If you have a moving subject, you can track with the subject so as to maintain some consistency.

Hey Ryan....yes used both Color and MB. I have a few favorite custom settings I created in MB that I like to give it a little bit of a filmic look.

Sorry Ethan....I totally missed your question. In Color you have so much more control over colors and contrast. You can really hone in on boosting colors. It is very sensitive and little corrections have more of an impact than if done in 3 way color correction. There are some plugins that come with Color. You have great scopes to work with and you can set those up a number of ways. Color, however, doesn't like Motion files, jpeg or slowmo. You have to export these to Color as self contained Quicktime movies. Color is such a deep program that I'm sure I have only scratched the surface on it's capability. I like color grading so I up for learning it.

I too love color grading, but I've gotten myself so far behind that I just don't have the time to fiddle with Color. MB Looks will have to do for now it seems.
