My first baptism!

Hey all,

Just did my first baptism. It was nice to do something new, and I was really happy with the result. Here's a clip from the gathering at the house before going to the church. Check out the piles of snow in front of the house (April 19!). Man, winter was long this year. Now we're already in our shorts. It's crazy:

The parents are friends of a friend. Tried for years to have a child, so this was extra special for them. The opening title doesn't work so well in the web video, but looks great on tv.

Hope you enjoy it. Comments always welcome. Sure helped my last video...

I thought the video was very well done; good shots and good editing and good soundbytes. I've never seen a baptism video, so that was cool to see.

My only complaint would be that some of the shots seemed a bit overexposed and undersaturated, but that could just be the web video conversion.

Camera?

Hello, Just out of curiosity, what camera are you shooting with?

Thanks, Brian

I've never seen one before either, till I did this one. So I have no point of reference. It was fun to do, though.

Yeah, that must be it. Couldn't be operator error. No, no, not that...hehe.

Thanks for the honest feedback as always, Travis.

Brian, I'm shooting with a Sony Z1. Other than it's performance in low light, which is nothing to write home about, I love this camera.

Cheers,
Vito
