Shooting weddings w/ XH-A1 in 60, 30 or 24?

Hi folks, just wondering what everyone's feelings are on which mode to film weddings in with the XH-A1? Thanks!

your taste...

I think it depends a lot of what is your style...for example if you need slow motions and don't mind a video look...60i, if you want a more cinematic look, don't mind limitations for slow motions and feel confident working with it, 24p. For something in the middle...30p...it need a bit more light though.

So...they all have something to gain and something to lose. and also here are ways to work around the limitiations..

Hope it helps.

Absolutely. Thanks. I'm not too comfortable with 24p yet, I need a lot more practice. I tend to lean a little more toward the 30, but good reminder about needing a little more light for the 30, thanks!

I shoot 30F to get a bit of both worlds and when put on Blu-ray progressive or Internet I don't get the interlaced zig-zag.

One thing to keep in mind, the 60i is compatable with other cameras and players. The 24F and 30F is Canon specific so you need a Canon camera to capture/playback. Canon doesn't make a deck for HDV.
