quick question

Hey there.

This is my first wedding edit and I'm going with lots of reading and a lot of instint. I'm working on the full video and I'm at the speachess by First man, bridesmaid, father, mother, groom. My feeling is that it'll be too long to put them all as there are. So, I thought to pick the best parts from each.

Is that what you all do?

Thanks.

I hack up the toasts if they're too long... BUT...

I will also include them *intact* on a 2nd "raw footage" DVD along with the full ceremony (Which I also shorten on the main DVD).

Others will disagree but I just can't bring myself to throw these things away. My compromise is the 2nd DVD with footage just cleaned up a bit.

You didn't specify how long is too long, but I totally agree with the 2nd DVD option.
I had one wedding with over an hour of toasts, that was definitely 2 discs!
