Rockin' eShoot to Share!

Hey,

Thought I'd share an eShoot that we shot and edited back in March of this year (2008).

http://www.vimeo.com/1393140 or http://shadowplay.com.au/blog

Shot in my pre-XH-A1 days on a Canon XL2 and a Sony HVR-V1P.

This one is well and truly 'in the bag' but comments and critiques are still most welcome.

Cheers!

Matthew.

Awesome. Excellent camera work and love the use of colour contrasts. The photo stills also great! Cant wait to see more eShoots:)

Very well done. Seemed to fit the couple's style to a T.

Pardon my stupidity, but what is an e-shoot?
Love the unclean cuts and the images were beautiful. It was a really fun and flirty style that looks like it fit the couple.

Hey Mary,

eShoot is a hip way of saying engagement shoot - all the cool kids are saying it ;)

Thanks for your comments and for checking out the vid!

Cheers,

Matthew.

Matthew,
eshoot was dynamic, upbeat, eye motivating video!

If I could suggest, would do different, the photos seem to be a little static...some shots,
transitions, I'd make more dynamic, (but it's my taste, as good as anybody else's)
Very nice piece!

Hey Oleg,

Thanks! Appreciate your feedback on the photos as well. I find it hard to figure out what to do with photos in video. I don't like to overpower the photos with flashy effects or transitions but I'd like to find something cooler than the 'slow rotate zoom in' that I currently use.

Cheers,

Matthew.
