I'm a wedding videographer and... well... here's my wedding video!

Weird to be a wedding videographer for going on 7 years and finally get married yourself... only to edit your own wedding video! Talk about getting emotional while editing a wedding video... that was an extremely emotional experience.

I had a couple "non-professional wedding videographers" (aka friends) shoot our wedding and I had the challenge of editing from two cameras that had just enough footage to produce what I came up with. Still super stoked with the way it turned out.

Let me know what you guys think!

Which Sony HDV cameras did they use?

That's pretty amazing that you've been filming/editing weddings as a single man for that long! Wow. Usually people get into this business AFTER they've gotten, married. Way to break the mold, lol.

As for the video, I'll admit I didn't watch every minute of it. I watched it from beginning to end, skipping a bit ahead now and then (and skipping backwards sometimes too). I probably saw about 75% of it or so. I'd watch it all but I'm working late as it is already. d;-)

Anyways, given that the footage was fairly shaky and not always composed well, I think you did a good job. I think it was a great idea to go with an "old home film" style of edit because it fit the footage well. You created a character for the video and stuck with it all the through pretty much. Nice.

I have to say that my first wedding edit was my own wedding, and I sure wish I could film it and edit it differently now! Thanks for sharing, man.
