Highlights to share

Hey everyone, here's my latest highlights to share. It's a short, fast paced video from a fairly uneventful day. Your comments and critique are welcome. Thanks everyone.

Hey Josh,

I enjoyed your highlights. Well shot, nice compositions. I'm sure they are going to love it.

I would suggest maybe using more cutaways in between all the jump cuts, cause sometimes your shots get repetitive. Like the three four shots in a row of him adjusting his tie. Perhaps you could have gone back and forth intead of leaving his shots together (for example). And I would slomo the last two shots.

Nice work.

Hi Josh,

I think you've got some great ideas in there and overall it is pretty strong. The images themselves are pretty flat though, so some pushing of the blacks at the very least would help a lot. Some more advanced grading would go that much further.

It also seemed like something was going on with the merlin, in that there seemed to be a lot of side to side wobble during the shots. It seemed very smooth up and down with very good isolation from your body- but it was going side to side quite a bit.

Josh - nice!!! Great shots and good pacing. Especially impressed that you shot this solo. The DOF shots really stood out for me.

I liked it a lot! Some really nice creative shots there. Agree about the side to side action on the glidecam, but really good overall.

Thx for sharing.
