Would you recommend 24f for a wedding video with a lot of slow mo?

Or would it be better to go 30 or 60i?

I found 24p in slow motion to be very kachunk-kachunk-kachunk, if you know what I mean. I'm shooting the A1 at 30 and have found it to be a good compromise between motion attributes, low-light sensitivity and how it looks slowed down. The best thing to do is run some tests of your own to see what your personal preferences are.

If I was going to run exclusively slow-motion, then yes, I would go with 30fps, but since I don't always slow my footage down, I run it at 24. The thing with slow-motion and 24 fps, is you can slow it down to only 80% and still gives the effect. depending on how smooth your shot was maybe 70% or slower. Keeping the camera absolutely steady during shooting is essential.

If you have After Effects you have another option with the Timewarp effect. It will take progressive frames and tween intermediate frames from pixel motion so the image stays sharp without ghosting.

A couple of caveats though. Rendering this effect with the pixel motion option will take a lot of time unless you have a Cray in your closet. Also, you can get some weird artifacts if there's a lot of fast motion or when something large in the foreground moves and reveals something new in the background. It's hard to tween a good frame when an object suddenly appears.
