I also sent vendors DVD. It's a great way to network. The contract the couple signed indicated we own the intellectual property. They are aware of that. Besides, like someone else mentioned, these vendors are not strangers. They were interviewed and hired by the couple.

I started it long time ago by mailing the MC a copy of the wedding. She was indeed a big wedding planner (who also teaches certification classes). Ever since, she referred many jobs to me. We work so well together then we become friends. Another example is a DJ now we also become friends. I sent him back DVD on each wedding together with my constructive comments.

When they show potential customers their work, they will show them my DVDs. It goes naturally the customer will be interested to find out more about me. However, there're also many DVDs being sent and never heard back anything. That's okay by me.
