Interested in shooting weddings...

I'm thinking of starting a little wedding video producing venture during college next year for some extra cash and experience. I was wondering what advice everyone has for me? I’ve read most of the threads with wedding stuff in them on the forum, but anything about anything (equipment, technique, doing it right hehe etc...) you'd like to share with me would be greatly appreciated.

Also does anyone know of any books or good websites written about shooting weddings?

Being that these are memories people are going to want to remember for the rest of their lives I’m quite leery about even doing a first wedding because all I’ve ever done is small documentary stuff.

So I want to prepare as much as I can before I even think about doing this next year. Thanks in advance as always for the great advice!

Shooting weddings is not difficult but it is work. Just shoot clips to build a story. As long as you start from the beginning (before the wedding) and take it to its conclusion, you will have put together a wedding story. But if you don't have basic videography skills, than it won't be an intersting story.

There has been a lot of wedding posts here. All you have to do is use the search function.
