2nd Camera or other accessory?

Hello All,

I'm going to be more involved with wedding videography with a photography guy that I know. At this point, I'm only starting out and am on a very limited budget. On the other hand, he is very experienced and has been asked for references for videographers.

My list of assets is pretty light at this point:

1. Used PD150 w/extra batteries and a WA lens
2. Sturdy tripod
3. Flowpod
4. A cheapo zoom controller
5. Frezzi mini-fill light with softbox and lead acid battery pack

My question is this - what would you buy as your next piece of equipment? I'm thinking about picking up another camera to be able to have good cutaways and as a backup. On the other hand, I was also thinking about using that money to pick up a wireless mic system. Obviously the camera would be bigger stretch, unless I went with a cheap 1 chip consumer.

What would you do? I appreciate your comments, even if it's just wait until some more money starts coming in to lay out for more equipment.

Thanks
Ron

Without another camera operator, a second camera is only (which is good to have) a backup.

I'd go for a reasonable wireless microphone and then for a good cardiod microphone to replace the 150's microphone . Then I'd probably look for a backup sound recording device. MD recorder or similar that can be hung somewhere on the officiant as a backup to the wireless. Then I'd probably look for a backup or second unit camera. If just a backup, then I'd go for a 1-chipper. If a second unit, a used 2000 or 150 would be OK too.
