New Highlights Video - Advice Welcome

Hi guys,

Wedding shot with a Z5P, Glide track and miller tripod. The video needs some tweaks and color correction on some cuts.

Any advice welcomed for one of my first weddings...

there is a bit of backlighting issues at 0.40 - 0.45... plus needs a little color correction...

also noticed a dip to white at 2.23... a kinda funky jump thats not in the rendereed version... must be vimeo

Good shot composition in several of the shots. I don't understand the jump cut at 1:33. Did you have a dropped frame when you loaded the tape into your computer? But my biggest advice is: stop using auto exposure. Not only is it killing you with back lighting, you are also getting exposure "hunting" when you pan. Use zebras and set the exposure for the subject of your shot. If the background is too dark or light, so be it; get the subject right.

Thanks for the advice jim... Yeah it was one of my first weddings and didnt want to stuff it up... i just did more work with manual exposure last week and it has dropped this issue. I noticed the pan exposure hunting.... im still pretty happy with the first edit... nt

Thanks for the tips Jim... Muchly appreciated

By the way, I wish we could have some of that wonderful summer weather I see in some of those shots. It seems so strange to have Christmas in the summer.
