MainConcept Mpeg Pro- Premiere Pro CS3

Thought I'd use this plug in to encode a wedding video i just finished editing after reading its wonderful use in this forum. However, the final product looks sooo clean and clear its like a home movie even with Magic Bullet grading. We used Sony HD1000u cameras 1080i downconverted to DVD quality... Anyone else experience using this plug-in? Thanks

Deinterlace your footage with a good deinterlacer and you'll send the homevideo-like image away. But don't use CS3 deinterlacing, it is not famous for its quality. Use "Magic Bullet Frames" or "Fieldskit" by Re:Vision (and play a bit with their settings). Since you live in the NTSC area, you'll need to work out some more options that I (being in PAL) am not familar with, like 24p and pulldown etc.
