Sorry Mr. Hurd if this isn't exactly the place to be posting. But I keep DVINFO opinions at the top of my list when it comes to my wedding videography business.

Anyways, I plan on donating the remaining balance that one of my former brides owes me. I currently only accept check, which is how she was planning on paying.

would it be unprofessional of me to send her the link to the red cross's website asking her to make a donation with credit card, and to just cc me the confirmation email?
I'm not concerned about tax deductions or anything like that.

Or should she just pay me with check and I'll make a personal donation from my own funds.
