Hague Glid Pod

Does anyone have any experience of using the Hague glide pod at a wedding? Be interested to hear your views and what head you use and any footage you can point me to.

The forward motion can easily be replicated with a plain tripod on 2 legs, the only advantage I see is that you can do some small side movements. I haven't heard about this pod but just looked it up and that's one big thing to drag around on a wedding day. I think a tripod with a small slider one it would me much more convenient/efficient to work with, like I said, back to front movements you can do with a tripod as well and slider movements just look way better then what I can see on their demo's. The pod just seems to bulky to me.

I would honestly never purchase something like that. Like Noa said you can recreate the same motion with a tripod if you wanted, and so it's one less bulky thing to pack. Even a merlin or a glidecam would be a smaller and better choice in my opinion.
