It was just stupid enough to make me laugh.

Re: Chicken Steadicam
How long before the major camera manufacturers incorporate a Chicken Optical STabilizer (COST)?
|
Re: Chicken Steadicam
i tried this before. the problem was mounting your camera on the fluid head and let's not talk about just catching, i mean, finding where you last left your steadicam.

Re: Chicken Steadicam
So do you think an ostrich would be able to handle my 7D?
|
Re: Chicken Steadicam
Ostrich idea is dumb. Everyone knows an ostrich is too big too hold. Chicken is much better.
|
Re: Chicken Steadicam
Ahh..didn't fully explain...
I was looking at the possibility of a fully autonomous steadicam. No need to hold. That way I can operate a second camera. :) |
Re: Chicken Steadicam
Ahhh, I see. Brilliant! In that case I'm loving it, great idea. Set it to moving at the reception for great moving shots of the dancing as it weaves in an out of the dancers.

Re: Chicken Steadicam
My chicken cam worked great! However, when I fed him, he totally ruined my shot because his head kept going up and down and up and down and up and down....
|
Re: Chicken Steadicam
Yes, note to self: Chicken does not get fed till AFTER end of reception.
|
Re: Chicken Steadicam
I'm thinking of putting this in the flower girl's basket...should get some amazing shots.
