i tried this before. the problem was mounting your camera on the fluid head and let's not talk about just catching, i mean, finding where you last left your steadicam.

Ostrich idea is dumb. Everyone knows an ostrich is too big too hold. Chicken is much better.

Ahh..didn't fully explain...
I was looking at the possibility of a fully autonomous steadicam. No need to hold. That way I can operate a second camera. :)

Ahhh, I see. Brilliant! In that case I'm loving it, great idea. Set it to moving at the reception for great moving shots of the dancing as it weaves in an out of the dancers.

My chicken cam worked great! However, when I fed him, he totally ruined my shot because his head kept going up and down and up and down and up and down....

Yes, note to self: Chicken does not get fed till AFTER end of reception.
