Compressing your videos

I was wondering what your settings are when you render your videos for the web. I have Vegas 4.0 if that makes any difference. Right now my stuff looks terrible. I thank you in advance for any answers.

I use .wmv 9 at 384-512kbps with a resolution of 320x240 and the files are usually a decent size... about 4megs/minute and they look ok for web stuff to me.

Yeah, you should get much better results with the .wmv then that. A larger resolution too.
