Have to say, I've been very interested in the X70 in the last few days. I'm considering hiring one so that I can make low light comparisons between it and my current Sony NX3.

In theory it should be great in low light but with that slow lens and so many pixels packed onto the sensor I'm not so sure. The idea appeals to me though if it can better the NX3 in low light especially as If I sell the NX3 cams I'll probably make a slight profit.

The blurb on the official Sony site says the sensor is 1.67 stops brighter than a 1/2.88 inch sensor (which the NX3 has) but it's almost two stops slower at the wide end of the lens compared to the NX3. Hmmm.
