Seeking feedback on music library idea

Hey everyone,

I enjoyed doing event videography for several years, and as a musician/engineer/producer I offered clients the unique option of creating a piece or two of original music for their video.

These days, I've hung up my Z1U and most of my gear, and generally bring it out only for my own family events.

However, my production partner and I have been thinking about offering a music library specifically for wedding/event videographers, and I'm seeking feedback about what you would like.

Right now, we're thinking the initial volume would include:
- 12 original romantic wedding/heartfelt songs -- mostly solo piano or solo acoustic guitar -- but a few might have larger arrangements
- seamlessly loopable song segments and/or 'construction kits' with a beginning + one or two seamlessly loopable middle sections + an ending so you can build for varying lengths
- 5-second stings and/or 15-second bumpers for use with titling, menus, logos, etc.
- royalty-free license (including YouTube and Vimeo)

Would you be interested in something like this?
Would you prefer to buy songs individually, or whole album at a comparative discount?
What price would make it appealing?
Is there anything you'd like in a music library that you can't seem to find or obtain elsewhere?

Any feedback is welcome! Thanks!

Re: Seeking feedback on music library idea

I use SmartSound libraries so for me loops with a proper beginning and end would be very useful even if one would need to manually fill in the middle ...I often need a track that I can fit into a 2 or 3 minute bit of video and having a beginning and especially an ending makes it a lot more professional! Like the idea of a construction kit

Thanks for the reply, Chris. Sounds like we might be going in the right direction with some of this.

Would anyone else like to share any thoughts?
Any features that we missed that might could help with a recent editing challenge?
