42.5mm F1.7 or 25mm / F1.4

I'm looking for a lens for my GH4. Something for those low light conditions at weddings.
I can't decide what one to get.
The Lumix G 42.5 mm/F1.7 ASPH/Power OIS
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
or
SUMMILUX 25mm / F1.4
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

What's your thoughts ? :)

Thanks in advance.

Much depends on your shooting style, if you use the 25mm you either need to shoot on a monopod or a tripod or use a gx80 or g80, I personally have not used the 25mm at weddings, my 42,5mm is my go to lens for all beautyshots handheld on my gx80 but also headshots at reception and in the venue. I use it the entire day.

Hand held at reception and might use it for photo shoot or receiving line ...maybe.

Thank you Noa.

The stabilization on the 42,5mm works well on the gh4 and the gx80 for handheld shooting, something you cannot say about the 25mm/gh4.

Thank you again Noa, I'll place the order over the weekend for the F1.7 lens.

Thanks to you both.

Well, my lens arrived this morning :)

Having no experience with fixed lens (I have the Lumix 12-35mm) the first thing I noticed was that it brought the subject in that bit closer, what I would normally then do is zoom out that wee bit :)

Very pleased with this lens in what wee bit of testing I did, I'm just wondering how this lens will cope if its on a tripod with it having power OIS?

Thanks again.
