Check out our Wedding Invitations!

Hi there,

I thought I'd share with you our wedding invitations. We made up over 100 of these on DVD - one for each of the guests.

http://www.ebenezerfilms.com/Ebeneze...ing_Invite.wmv

We wanted to do something non-traditional that reflected us as a couple. My wife-to-be, Katie, is a professional photographer and budding videographer.

We both had a great time making these - hope you enjoy!!

Matthew.

Hi Dante,

We used my Canon XL2 plus some Bowens Esprit 500 lights with umbrellas - all crammed into this tiny space in my house.

For editing I use Premiere Pro 1.5 and a Canopus DV Storm2. Obviously there's a bunch of effects chucked on the original video - a lot of colour correction, a strobe to make the video a bit jerkier etc ....

Thanks,

Matthew.

Awesome! I liked the grainy look. I also like the name of your town!

Cheers,

Great invitation, sounds like a rockin' reception too! Open bar or what? I like it so much better than the regular conservative wedding invites ... not that my opinion on this matter counts diddly squat, if you know what I mean.

Holy Crap Matt, really cool and a great idea to boot! Ok we're RSVPing!

My wife and I have been trying to figure out a way to get my company to move me to Austrailia for about the last year, but they don't post positions on our HR server for that part of the world, something about you guys dont want us yanks down there because we like to work long hours and you guys want to stop in the middle of the day for a pint or two!

Anyway, super work, totally compelling to watch and wild idea and most important FUN, you guys both looked like you were having a great time and I see more of that in your future. Best of luck to the both of you!

Miguel

Great stuff

Matthew... I feel completely compelled. My FI and I have watched it number of times and we will definitely devote an evening to at least make an attempt at doing our wedding invites in some original way. She was never to sure about sending our DVD's but after seeing your work it should be a problem NO MORE. :)

Great work and thanks for the inspiration.
