"L" Bracket Alternative?

Ok after about a week in the VX2100 group and no response I'll try here (since I do weddings).

Attached to my VX2100 is the mini-rover as seen here:

I like this thing but don't like removing it (and consequently the beachtek) each time I store the VX in the bag for transport.

I need either a larger storage solution which will hold everything assembled (which really isn't a bad idea by I really can't find the right size) or maybe an "L" bracket like the the mini-rover with maybe a quick-release to slide the arm off. I've searched for something like this but haven't had any luck.

Any ideas?

I recently purchased a used mini-rover, which did not have the locator pin. This turned out to be a good thing! I just rotate the arm counter-clockwise so that the handle is at the front of the lens and in the case it goes.

For a Z1 I have to take off the lens hood, but this is easy and quick.
