ok here is my first attempt at a bridal shoot video. I basically shot video while my wife did the photo shoot. I realized in editing that it was very shaky, I should have pulled out the tripod for this one. My wife says she doesn't notice, and probably brides won't either. I'd love to get your opinions as we are going to try and sell this as an upgrade to the bridal photo shoot. I think it's a unique perspective on the photography part of the day. I am totally in love with this bride, she is so easy to shoot. thanks in advance for your comments...

I liked the video. It was shot nicely.

Adding your business and phone number in the end is also a great advertisment for future prospects that they would mail the DVD's to.

I did notice the movements you mentioned. I think you're want a stablizer. Even a homemade one would add a lot more smoothness. Actually, for a wedding, a sholder mount is probably the best thing for you. That way, you'll have access to the controls on your camcorder.

The bride was definately photogenic, but then, I bet you'd say that to all your clients. :)

You know, I like some of the homemade wedding videos a friend did. I think it's hell of a lot better than the wedding video I paid a professional for. He's got interviews with the friends and family, the things the bride and groom were doing to get ready for the wedding, before the wedding that is.

Hopefully he'll submit one of his clips for you guys, since he's a user here. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

The shake isn't that bad. The shots I disliked it the most on where the flowers in the beginning where you could put titles and slow mo that part to make the shake go away. by the way if you are hand held , go wide as you can and get close to the subject. That will eliminate noticable shake as well.
