Giant Squid Rocks!

I thought I fried the Giant S sometime back when I plugged it into an XLR.. finally I managed to get my hands on an iriver n discovered it works!! The recording is so good it sounds like it was done with much more expensive systems! Thanks Darren!

Sean,

I mic the groom with a Senn G2 and the sound quality is excellent. A few weeks ago, I took a Baptism Event at 24hrs notice (one of my corporate clients asked me for coverage). I hooked up the priest with an iRiver & Giant Squid. I was very impressed with the sound!

Darren offers great prices, good quality, and excellent service. I'd recommend his products to any videographer looking for affordable solutions to their audio set-ups.

Indeed he does. Very reputable.

I only wish his lav mics would come with a "detachable" tie clip though. It looks funny taping this thing up a podium mic. Then again, I'll never lose one due to falling off I suppose.

The lav mics that come with the Senn G2's do have removable clips but the jacks don't work too well in the iRivers. I ordered a cheap Azden to use with the iRiver for this purpose. We'll see how that goes.
