sweet 16 rates

hello every1,

im curious if any of you ever been asked to videotape sweet 16 and how much u charged for it? I realize sweet 16s dont command the same prices as weddings do, but in fact u spend almost the same amount of time shooting and then definatelly more time editing.
Thank you all in advance.

Forgot to add im in NYC/NJ area.

I'm down in the Washington D.C. area I do sweet 15's and get between $1200 and $1800 Depending on which package they choose. General feel down here is $1500

5 hour shoot, basic editing, no effect etc basic titling $880
If thy want highlights or whatever then that goes waaaaaaaaaaaay up...

this is also dependant on the time of year.. coz if its peak wedding season, than that price usually doubles...

Are you quoting Australian dollars in that figure or USD? Just thought it would be good to clarify. Ahhh...the joys of being an international forum.
