WEVA. How do you become a member? Is it worth it?

Now that I work mostly with promotions and corporate media, my involvement in wedding and event videography is considerably sparse, but a few years ago when it was most of my work, I did alot of research into WEVA with potential consideration in becoming a member.

Though it is not my intention to hijack this thread or start a row, or make any presumptions or assessments about any of their long-time and well-respected members, I will just state the following:

With regards to the organization as a 'for profit' outfit, my own cost/benefit analysis and for reasons of professional ethics, I have opted to stay miles away from anything WEVA touches.
