Inspirational: X+rey Film

Simple, short, clean and well edited wedding ceremony-- of course, it helps that it is in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Too cool.

I was impressed that they got away with it in the museum, but not with the editing style. Just not my taste, I guess. What kept me watching was to see if they got caught...

umm. no offense but whast so inspirational about it?

IMO, it had bad framing, bad white balance, extremely shaky footage, bad exposure, so so pace for raw footage, but id expect better if the client actaully paid for it...

I dont mean to be overly critical, but i woudnt call this inspirational.

If u want inspiration, check out TulsaWF, Elliot, Joe Allen and many others here..

I thought it was inspirational in that they basically had to capture this footage quickly "guerilla style" probably with a small camera handheld, and then try to edit it into something worth watching.

I liked their solution. [I dunno how many times, I've looked at crappy footage that I myself have shot and then try to figure out what to do with it]

The title cards basically moves the story along and try to pad up what footage that they did end up with.

For anyone that has been to the Metropolitan Musuem of Art[or any museum for that matter], you know that it is tough to do any kind of photography[it is basically not allowed except in certain areas] so I respect this kind of "cool under pressure" production.

P.S.

I guess, now after a second viewing, that I overlooked the technical aspects of it the first go around, and just appreciated of what they did and I can definitely see the glitches.

It just shows how I can forgive the technical flaws if the premise is interesting enough.

NOW i get you.. its not the product, but the means of acquiring the product.. i can appreciate that..
