Hi Patrick,
I just wanted to drop a line on the new website I liked it alot. Also was wondering what camera you are shooting with for photos and video as well. One last question, I have recently purchased a backdrop for my Love story interviews and saw you Thor video a while back and was wondering how you set it up. How large is the room, lighting used, etc. Great job.

Hmmm... its kinda weird having your name as a thread title. I have this forum on an RSS feed, so when I saw my name pop up, I thought I was in trouble at first.

Anyways- to answer you questions:

All photos were shot with the Nikon D200 with the 50mm 1.5, 28-70 f2.8, 80-200 f2.8, 17-35 f2.8 and Nikon 10.5 f2.8

Almost all the video was done with Sony, we use the pd 150/170 and the vx2000/2100 in varying combinations.

For love stories we used our old studio, which overall was a little small, but very manageable when shot right. When shot wrong, it really looked quite a bit worse. The room is about 25' x 15', with a black backdrop at the very end. I think the Thor love story was shot with about 8' between them and the background then about 12' to the camera. Ideally, another ten feet of depth in the room would have given me more blur on the background and light separation, but we had to work with what we had. for lighting, we actually went really simple with one 250/500 watt light to the right with a large softbox and then a gold reflector to the left. The reflector helped keep the backdrop dim and keep it black. Two lights seems to show more detail in the background, and the wrinkles aren't pretty. We then used a small hair light behind Pat and Jamie which was crucial due to the dark hair and background. Our new studio is a little bit longer and wider plus we have some new equipment coming for lots of new tricks- should be a lot of fun. I think I got everything there, let me know if you have any other questions.

Here is the last one we shot in the old studio if you want to check something else out. Keep in mind that the opening sequence was shot a long time ago. The idea for the credits opening also came some of Glen's work, so thanks to Glen for the inspiration on that.
