Graduation Ceremony Music

Other than "Pomp and Circumstance," what music might I use for a high school graduation highlights montage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Good Riddance by Green Day seems to be popular among Highschool Grad Slideshows. It might work in your case.

I did a graduation video last year and we put the class song in and they seemed to really like it. I also had a friend compose a rendition of their school alma-mater (spelling).

Thanks for the suggestions! These are great, but I was thinking of something instrumental. I used a variety of contemporary pop, rock, r&b and country tunes for their Senior class photo montage, so for their graduation ceremony montage I wanted to try something more theatrical, from a movie or TV show score. (Their class song is "Learning to Fly" from Tom Petty, but it doesn't really fit commencement footage.) I know many of you use more theatrical music for weddings and wanted to try something similar with this. Any ideas along these lines? Much appreciated.

Bill,
Here's a link to my son's grad video: http://cr-home-videos.com/ColtonGrad...eShow-256K.wmv . It's a little lengthy but has some pretty good music with it. There's a song on the end, "Hats Off To The Grads" (starts around 9:50 mins) that I got off of a CD of music for graduates that I liked alot. Also used several cuts from Digital Juice's Vol I and II which I have purchased. Hope this gives you some ideas.
Randy
