1KHz test tone
 

I need to insert 40 seconds of a "1KHz Test Tone on all audio channels, at program reference level" for a little project that will be broadcast on a regional TV channel.

This is my first project for broadcast and I am not sure where to find a 1KHz test tone for Vegas 6.

I assumed this would be simple but I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a zipped set of 6 tones on the VASST site.

Vegas can generate the tone by itself. When you print to tape there is an option there to add the tone. I've used it myself many times.
