Red Arrows effects in Vegas (footage)

hey chaps - Im pretty new to video editing and to Vegas but incase any of you are interested I have posted some footage of the Red Arrows that I edited in Vegas (taken with HV20 at 25p).

The file is here:

I got some really interesting (like I said I'm a noob) effects using just the Sony brightness/contrast fx.

I would relaly appreciate any comments or constructive criticism. One thing I would like to know how to do is to automate the amount of fx in each clip. I had different fx in seperate clips but would like to be able to more subtly change between them - ie increase the contrast during the clip before the next crossfade. Hope that makes sense -Thanks in advance

The technique is known as 'keyframing', where you effect a change in a parameter over time, and the computer interpolates in a linear or bezier curve between datapoints. This is common to most all advanced editing software, the only difference being how you implement it within each application.
