Vegas vs Liquid?

Just reading about Liquid, anyone try both? are there any benefits to having both systems running? How is Liquid as far as speed of running HD files and effects? and as far as rendering?

Chris, I've never used Liquid but have read lots of things about it. Just judging by the tools that most "professionals" have chosen, Vegas (between the two) is bar far the most preferred. I think you'll find better support for that product. I bought Vegas last year and after some trial and error getting started with it, I'm now 100% sold, it's awsome.

I use Liquid 7.2 it is a excellent program. Fast in effects, rendering, 24F, 30F, 60i, are not a problem.

I have never used Vegas but it would not surprise me they would have better customer support. Liquid's support is fair at best.

Why not try both? They both have trial versions. Nobody else will be able to tell you how you will like a NLE better then you could.
