DVD Architect Error Message HELP

Hi All,

I hope that someone can help me with this issue!!

I had a 80 minutes footage in HDV 60i that after editing it came to 1:46 minutes.
I rendered it in Vegas 7d using MPEG2 and used NTSC DVDA Widescreen as template. The total came to 4.54 GB.

After I took it to DVD Architect it told me that there is not enough Disc space and the disc space used is 5.74 for this project.
I am very confused as why DVDA tells me that.

Will somone PLEASE tell as what I need to do?

Thanks in advance.
Matthew

Either:-

Get some Dual Layer discs and let DVDA pick the layer break point automatically (get good quality ones!)

or

Render the project as an avi first, then use the optimize feature on DVDA to Fit To Disc.

DONT use the fit to disc option on the MPEG otherwise you re-compress already compressed footage.

4.54 Gig is still too big. A "4.7 Gig" disc will only hold about 4.37 Gig of information (computer size versus base 10 size differences).

I'd re-render the original file at a lower bitrate.
