Upgrade Chipset

Anyone have the latest greatest build specs for new editor to rip through HDV in Vegas? I mean speed only..Drive Arrays already handled. Also, anyone up on render farms. Need the 411

With Vegas' ability to utilize them, and with the low prices of quad core now, I wouldn't go with less than an Intel Quad core 2.66. If I were building my own I would get a board with two slots and run two of them. I run one and am happy with it.
