Vegas and Canon HG10?

Any problems using an hg10 which is the harddrive camera and as such not HDV but rather AVCHD with Vegas 7 or 8?

I am using xha1 and xlh1 and as a third sometimes the hv20 all work great but was thinking of getting an hg10 as a carry around scouting and experimenting camera just because its harddrive so I wont feel like I am wasting tape on shooting nothing around town for no reason, and bringing an hv20 and firestore is just bigger and not practicle, so this seems like a good play with camera, but not sure how it works with vegas.
