Is there a way to...

Is there a way to display audio bars in my video layer which correspond with whatever is happening in my audio layer? I need to be able to use this visualization as a mask with another image behind it. I'm using Sony Vegas 7.0d.

Thanks in advance!

I suppose you could play back the audio with bars bouncing, record that screeen, edit down to just that area of the video and put THAT on the timeline. Just make sure you're properly synced.
