VC-1 render settings

I've asked on Sony support a few times, but they don't really seem to have any idea. Can anybody point be towards WMV settings for a VC-1 compliant encode from Vegas?

Cheers,

look thru this site there are MS white papers which have WMV HD settings which is the vc-1 codec, might help

The documents of the Microsoft site don't actually give the details of how to make files that conform to the file. Either way, it doesn't help me much, as I do not have the knowledge of encoding to translate that into settings for Vegas. I know I need to use Advanced Profile, but that is about it.

Under WMV9, in Vegas, the "WMV9 Advanced" dropdown is the VC-1 option.

Hi Bill,

There are still a lot of options to select there. Can anybody advise on detailed settings for ensured compliance with the vc-1 format?
