Best way to get HD live screen capture? at DVinfo.net

Curious for a DVD tutorial whats the best way to get a live video of the computer screen ? I would want it HD/HDV

Shoud I mirror a dual monitor setup and work on one and shoot another with an HD camera focused and zooned in on the screen? Or is there a way to grab from say an DVI out feeding 1920x1080? Its not super color or res critical just needs to cut into other footage so it needs to be HDV

I've used camtasia from techsmith.com, a really nice screen capture utility that has internal editing, vo, highlighting and render capabilities.

I've heard good things about camstudio, open source from sourceforge.net, but haven't had a chance to use it myself as of yet.
