Black Frames Work-around
 

Just thought of a work-around for the black frames problem on some PCs...

1. Edit native .m2t files and render to Cineform intermediate.

2. Load the intermediate render into the original project on a new track and check for black frames.

3. If there are any black frames re-render just these bits (to intermediate)from the original .m2t files and replace the bad frames.

4. Render the intermediate files to your chosen format.

..I've been using Cineform to convert the .m2t files before editing but I've been having problems with the conversion freezing so I'm gonna try this work-around. Also native .m2t files actually run better on Vegas 8 than the Cineform .avi files and are much smaller!
