Changing source clip
 

Clips in an old Vegas project I want to reassemble have different names than they did when the project was created.

Is there a method from on the timeline to change the properties of the event so that the clip with the new name can be made to be the clip that Vegas uses for the event?

I do know that I can open the project and I will get the options to do this for media that is offline, but I'd would find it easier to do from the timeline in this case.

So what I'd like to do is open project, then I receive message Vegas can't find such and such clip, I then want to check "ingnore all" of the clips it cannot find and then go to timeline and change the source clip names and locations one at a time.

In project media - Replace
There you replace current clip with another...
