Best timeline for mixed footage?

Hey folks. I'm using Vegas 7 and need to edit clips from a wedding that came from three different cams.

1.) Canon XH-A1 shot in HD 30F
2.) Canon HV20 shot in HD 24P
3.) Sony TRV XXX shot in SD Interlaced

Most of the footage that I will use will come from either cam 1 or 2. Finished product will be delivered on DVD. Any suggestions on what timeline to use?

Would simple 'Time' or 'Seconds' work (assuming you're talking about the time ruler)?

Believe the footage will play on one timeline but you will have to select the project properties to one format (16x9 or 4:3) and match aspect on the TRV footage (assuming the other two are shot in HD standard 16x9). Could be wrong as I've not done this but I've seen DSE demo lots of different types of clips on one timeline playing fine.

I did a shoot like this a while ago but shot the A1 at 24F. Captured the footage from my Sony TRV900 (I shot it at 16:9) in a 60i timeline and converted using Cineform to 24p. Then I just set up a new 24p HDV project, edited, then rendered as a MPEG2 with some custom tweaks to the settings.

Most of the footage was either from the HV20 or A1 since the Sony footage had a noticable drop in resolution. Also, matching colors was a major pain in the butt.
