Interesting idea Phillip. Will remember that.

Actually since making my original query, I have bought a ShuttlePRO2 for editing. I was alerted to their existence by someone else asking about them. As it turned out there is an outfit on ebay selling them at a very good price - under half price landed, what they costs in NZ.

I really like it. I programmed the buttons for my own way of working, for example, have set buttons 1-4 for switching cameras in multicam, which makes that real easy. The jog wheel is great - love it. Have made out a spread sheet of button designations for easy checking of what I've set them for - 15 buttons is a lot to remember!
