Premiere better all around for HDV?

How much truth do you think there is in this :

I would have thought that Vegas would be especially good with all the sony cameras out there, but this guy thinks that Premiere is the best all around for playing nice-nice with different HDV camera...

"Adobe's editing application gets high marks for being among the few that will edit HDV files in their native format."

Tells me everything I need to know right there.

Whatever

He's obviously never tried using Vegas then!

What I love about Sony Vegas is its user friendliness, its dependability, and how professional it is. I know that it isn't taken very seriously in the 'inner circles', but Sony Vegas is the way to get things done.

In the end its really about how things work for you. If vegas is doing everything you need then rock on! When I was trying to pick an editor I got my hands on as many apps as I could and gave them a test drive. What ever works for you and what you are doing is the best HDV app for you.
