I have bright spots in my footage.

Hi guys, I put a light behind an actor and didn't catch it in time when we were shooting. I've managed to correct a bit of it in Vegas, but now I still have these big bright spots behind the actor, although the color of his face looks reasonable.

I think if I just got rid of these big bright spots or reduced them it'd look pretty good. Unfortunately, it'd be very tough to go back and re-shoot now.

Does anyone have any ideas? Could this be done in Affect Effects if not Vegas?

Thanks a lot in advance guys. (Oh, and I've already tried color correction a little bit, but nothing that will isolate just those spots.)

Actually here's a link to a pic:

You can get a pretty good mask on that area using the Secondary Color Corrector. Just reducing the saturation of the wall (so it appears white instead of yellow) made a huge difference.

I started by adding a secondary color corrector, clicking on the "Select Effect Range" eyedropper, and then dragging over an area from the top left to just above his right shoulder. Then adjust the sliders at the bottom to fine tune the mask.
