Why audio goes before video when render using Vegas 8.0 Pro

Could someone help me please. I know this is the setting problem but I can not find how to fix it.
When render using Vegas 8.0 Pro, after complete the rendering, play it and the AUDIO is play before the VIDEO. What should I change the setting to get the Video and Audio in sync.
Really appreciate your responses.

this has happened to me 2 or 3 times over the years with different versions of Vegas. Render seem to be the only answer.
Like I say, there's no real answer, I've been on all the Vegas boards with the question and gotten no real response so I rendered and it worked just fine. I guess it's just one of those things.

Don? That's NOT how I read John's query?

John? Are you saying that even AFTER render, A and V are still out of sync?

Grazie

Grazie, I meant to say RE-render. I read the post to say the A-V is out of sync after render and RE-render has fixed it for me the couple of times it's happened.

see the older we get the faster the fingers and the slower the eyes -my fingers got ahead of my eyes and brain and I missed the 're'.

Thanks guys. I am not sure what happend here. Could it be "the crossfade change"? Is there anyway I can manual set the crossfade like 10 sec or 20 second?
