Logging HDV footage with Vegas

Is there a way to log HDV footage like you can when you capture SD in Vegas? I really like that but the HD capture interface is different than the SD. I find being able to log scenes and in and out points to be a great help.

Batch capture of sections in HDV can't currently be done. You could just capture the whole tape and then break it up using Sub-Clips.

Thanks Edward,

Is there any tool that will allow me to log HDV tapes? I use to preview all footage and log scenes. Then I could just capture only the scenes I thought I needed and if I found I needed other I could go back and quickly capture just those scenes.

I thought I read somewhere that this may not be possible with HDV because of the fact that it records GOP's and not discrete frames.

I don't know of anything that will batch capture HDV.
