complient extentions for use in dvd architect

I am looking into buying dvd architect , but I have some questions about extentions it will accept. Let's say I am using Windows Movie Maker and I save & export my video as a dv-avi video. Can I import this into DVD Architect and have DVD Architect encode the AVI as a complient Mpeg for dvd authoring?
If I used TMPGenc Plus to make a complient MPeg, what would I save that as to use in Dvd Architect?
One more thing what about Audio, will Dvd Architect convert pcm wave to an AC3 file or would I have to convert the pcm wave to an AC3 file prior to Dvd Architect?

DVD Architect will certainly accept DV-AVI and convert it properly for a DVD.

It will also accept DVD compliant MPEG2 files and will not need to recompress them unless they are too large.

DVD Architect will also convert the audio to AC3 format (or, at least, all but the cheapest version will)

BTW, since DVD Architect comes WITH a version of Vegas, why not just use it instead of Move Maker for your editing?

Vegas comes in three versions:

Vegas Movie Studio (does not include AC3)
Vegas Movie Studio Platinum
Vegas Pro

Each larger version adds more features.

I think I will download the trial and see how I like it. I called and spoke with a sales person. Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated.
